Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 September 2026
AB Glamss ("we") respect your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have — whether you're shopping with us on abglamss.co.uk or using the AB Glamss mobile app.
Who We Are
AB Glamss is a London-based luxury fashion retailer. For any privacy-related question or request, you can reach us at hello@abglamss.co.uk or by post at London, United Kingdom.
Information We Collect
Account & Profile Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number and a shipping address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from your Google account.
Order & Payment Information
To fulfil an order we collect your shipping address, the items purchased, and order history. Payments are processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. Stripe may collect card details, billing address, and (only if you choose to use the in-app card-scanning feature) a brief camera scan of your card to auto-fill its number; that scan is processed on-device and is not stored by us.
Communications
If you contact us, use our live chat, or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the information you provide — such as your name, email, and the content of your message. Live chat conversations may be handled by our AI assistant (powered by OpenAI) or by a member of our team; either way, the conversation is stored so we can follow up with you.
Technical & Usage Information
We use cookies and local/browser storage to keep you signed in, remember items in your cart and wishlist, and understand basic site usage. On the mobile app, we may collect device information (such as device type and OS version) needed to operate the app and deliver push notifications.
Push Notifications
If you enable push notifications in the mobile app, we send updates about your orders (such as dispatch and delivery) and, if you've opted in, notifications about new products. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings.
How We Use Your Information
To process and fulfil your orders, including payment, shipping, and customer support
To create and manage your account, including your order history and wishlist
To respond to enquiries via contact forms and live chat
To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and (if you've opted in) marketing communications such as newsletters and abandoned-cart reminders
To improve our website, app, and product range
To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security, or technical issues
To comply with our legal obligations
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, including:
Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and file storage
Stripe — processes payments securely (PCI-DSS compliant)
OpenAI — powers our AI chat assistant
Expo/EAS — delivers push notifications and supports our mobile app infrastructure
Cloudflare — hosts and secures our website
These providers only process your data on our instructions and under appropriate confidentiality and security commitments. We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our customers.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website uses cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your cart and wishlist between visits. These are essential to how the site functions; we do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
Data Retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations (such as tax and accounting requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time — see "Your Rights" below.
International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers (including Stripe, Supabase, OpenAI, and Expo) may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure your data remains protected to UK standards.
Your Rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
Request deletion of your data
Restrict or object to certain processing
Receive your data in a portable format
Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent (such as marketing emails)
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@abglamss.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Children's Privacy
While we sell products for children, our website and app are intended for use by adults, and accounts must be created and managed by someone 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children.
Marketing Communications
We'll only send you marketing emails (such as our newsletter or promotions) if you've opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us directly. You'll continue to receive essential transactional messages, such as order confirmations, regardless of your marketing preferences.
Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections, secure authentication, and access controls — to protect your personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information to a high standard.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do.
